Career
No Cap had always been certain he would venture into the music as he started to toe this path at an early age.
A combined effort of his elder brother who was already a rapper and his mother’s boyfriend who wrote rhymes for him was the spur of his journey.
He would climb stages with Backend Foreign, his elder brother at the age of 9 to perform songs and raps at events in the City’s South Side.
His mother’s boyfriend would teach No Cap songwriting, wordplay and flows he needed to make his songs appealing enough.
Sadly for him, the relationship between his mother and boyfriend ended on final notes, also giving No Cap’s music career an unplanned break.
Interestingly, this hiatus was not to last longer than his passion would permit.
And so once again, he returned to his heart’s aching immediately after High School.
By this time, he wasn’t exactly earning from music so it was more of a hobby than a profit merchandise.
Then his mother’s health started to decline, so she could no longer care for No Cap and his siblings.
Owing to this fact, she admonished everyone to go out and get a sustainable job for the welfare of the family.
No Cap tried the Local Walmart in his area of domicile but bade the job farewell just two weeks into work.
He did reveal in an interview that he knew someone owning his time wasn’t something he could deal with, plus he couldn’t afford the luxury of pursuing his passion on the side.
Hence, he left but this time around approached music for both fulfillment and wealth.

In 2017, he soon dropped his first EP titled Joker, in 2018 he dropped another song, titled Legend.
He released a music video for Legend which amassed over a million views on YouTube, pushing him gradually to the hall of prominence.
In the same 2018, No Cap debuted a mixtape with the title, Neighborhood Hero which followed another mixtape where he featured Rylo Rodriguez, an American rapper and Storyteller.
The mixtape is titled Neighborhood hero.
Still pushing on with his career, No Cap was honoured with a feature from Lil Baby on the track Dreams 2 Reality which is part of the songs from Lil baby’s Street Gossip mixtape.

His sister had gotten into an altercation with a stranger whom No Cap, in a bid to defend her, fired shots at the stranger.
The police charged him for “shooting into an occupied dwelling as well as reckless endangerment.”
But before he turned himself in, he prepared his first studio album, Mr Crawford which was released on the 29th of April, 2022.
It soon ranked number 8 on the Billboard 200 with sales of about 29,000 copies in one week, becoming his highest charting project ever.
